1. Marketplace Nature
BK Market acts as a multi-vendor marketplace connecting registered buyers with independent merchants. While BK Market facilitates checkout, escrow protection, and disputed mediation, each vendor remains solely responsible for the authenticity, inventory accuracy, and physical fulfillment of their merchandise.
2. Buyer Obligations & Ordering
- Buyers agree to provide truthful and accurate billing and delivery contact details.
- All prices are displayed in the chosen currency (defaulting to LKR) inclusive of applicable marketplace taxes.
- Orders are finalized upon successful gateway authorization and automated order confirmation code generation.
3. Vendor Conduct & Tier Rules
Merchants agree to abide by their registered vendor tier limits, uphold dispatch SLAs within 48 business hours, and never list counterfeit, restricted, or unlawful items. Failure to maintain acceptable fulfillment ratings may result in tier downgrade or account suspension.
4. Returns, Escrow & Dispute Resolution
BK Market holds merchant payouts in escrow until 7 days post-delivery. Buyers may open a formal order dispute via their order invoice page if an item is not received, is damaged, or differs materially from the description.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent commercial courts in Colombo.
